General Ledger
The General Ledger module stands for holding a comprehensive financial relationship with all the physical movements managed by the other modules of the software.
The accounting structure
The system is based on a chart of accounts. Each account can be set to define its operation. You can define aggregation levels for reporting.
An account can be defined to hold the AR & AP transactions) or to be ventilated over cost centers.
Accounting daybooks parameters specify the modes of entry of transactions and automatic counterparts.
You can record transaction templates (including formulas) to accelerate the entry of accounting transactions.
The accounting structure can be saved to be reused in another folder.
Automatic accounting transactions
Many entries are automatically posted by management transactions:
- Transactions from the accounts payable and receivable (invoices and payments)
- Transactions from inventory transactions
- Transactions from production reporting
Definition of accounting reports
The accounting reports are fully customizable, they depend on the organization of chart of accounts.
Several models are available (2 or 3 columns, comparison /year Y-1).
It indicates, line by line, which accounts must be displayed by means of calculation formulas.
